Nova Coffee, founded in 2015 by Agnes Mukamushinja and Felix Hitayezu, partners with over 2,800 smallholder farmers in northern Rwanda — supporting women, youth, and sustainable development through coffee. Their IKAWA SAWA and Nova Akeza projects empower women farmers and train underserved youth in agriculture, while initiatives like childcare, housing, and education improve community well-being.

Each lot is carefully processed: hand-sorted cherries are mechanically depulped, wet fermented, washed, and dried on raised beds for 12–21 days before export. With cool climates and fertile soils near Lake Muhazi, Nova produces exceptional Red Bourbon coffee while creating lasting social impact.
